Common questions
One session is one applicant verification attempt, regardless of how many checks run within it. A session that runs document verification plus liveness detection counts as one session, not two.
Yes. IDPylon's orchestration engine can run multiple checks within a single session based on the applicant's risk score. You are billed per session, not per check.
Overage sessions are calculated at the end of each billing period and charged at your tier's per-session rate. You will see the projected overage in your dashboard during the month.
Sessions that were opened but abandoned before any check completed are not billed. Sessions where a check ran (even if the decision was a fail or manual review) count against your monthly total.
Yes. You can downgrade at the end of any billing period. Downgrading mid-period takes effect at the next billing cycle. Features specific to higher tiers become unavailable on the effective date of downgrade.
Unused sessions within the monthly included volume do not roll over and are not refunded. Overage charges are applied only for sessions actually used above the included cap.
No. All plans are month-to-month with no minimum commitment. Annual invoicing is available on the Scale tier and for enterprise custom agreements.
Yes. You have 30 days after cancellation to export your session data, audit logs, and applicant records. After that window, data is purged per our retention policy.
